Small Miners Development & Funding
Access to funding and financial support of the small mining groups are essential to develop and grow. These are individuals with a shovel and a pan remove 2-3kg gold alluvial per month from a river bed and sells it to local ‘’businessmen’’ at a tenth of the value. Water Purification & Nutrition

In Ethiopia for instance only 12% of households have access to drinkable water.
Housing & Unemployment
Universal Venture Holdings (Pty) Limited (UVH) is a company with limited liability incorporated in the Republic of South Africa. Established in year 2000, UVH, is a fully licensed trading company for diamonds and gold within South Africa.
South Africa has one of the better unemployment rates in Africa, but is still at an alarming 25.5% out of a population of approximate 52 million people. Entrepreneurship is the answer for a more sustainable growth of the economy, but financial institutions are not geared for general investment. We are currently holding ‘’breakfast seminars’’ for unemployed men featuring Christian key-note speakers to mobilize and inspire work seekers. Small industrial units are then identified and rented to facilitate the manufacturing of a variety of goods and supply of services. All this with skill from these gatherings, may it be the physical manufacturing, purchasing, marketing bookkeeping or logistics of the products.
The urbanization of the population has left vast areas surrounding the cities and mining communities in the hands of ground ‘’smugglers’’ who, unmanaged by municipalities or government rent out property for the erection of low cost (and in most cases dangerous) housing structures. These structures pose a danger to inhabitants not only in event of fire and extreme weather, but also in a social economical sense. Not only extremely unaffordable but also distanced from medical services and educational institutions. More than 70% of children in these areas go to school just because it is their only access to a daily meal.
Renewable Energy
The state owned energy and electricity provider in South Africa still uses coal in 80% of their generators. The method of ‘’coal to fuel’’ is also by most oil and petroleum refineries to produce petroleum Due to the rising income and growing population energy demands. Energy is required in almost all aspect of everyday life including agricultural, drinking water, lightening, health care, telecommunication and industrial activities. While presently the demand of energy is met by fossil fuel which is also declining currently and become more expensive. Thus, Bio-energy is becoming an important source of energy and fuel and will become in demand in the coming future. Thus, the use of sunflower oil as a source for Biodiesel production has been shown in studies to be viable, sustainable and potential source. Universal Venture Holdings is actively busy with Research And Development of Bio-Diesel manufacturing, the marketing thereof and involving communities in the primary manufacturing of goods from bio-products.
